Laikipia-West Constituency
Laikipia West was created in 1966 after the larger Laikipia-Nanyuki (c/no 69) was split into Laikipia West (c/no 104) and Laikipia East (c/no 105). The former has retained the same name but became c/no 121 in 1987 and c/no 133 in 1996. It retained the same name and code number until 2012 when it became c/no 163.
